Web 2.0 defined O'Reilly's Web 2.0 article is pretty thought-provoking, I think, although some people seem to hate him.
Paul Graham - A very smart venture capitalist based in Stanford who thinks you don't have a chance at creating a start-up company (read essays). I think he's wrong. Of course, if you knew the difference between good advice and bad advice, then perhaps you wouldn't need advice. There is some excellent and up-to-date stuff in those essays though.
